Songbird Studio is not only a creative home for me, but also an exhibition and workshop space for other artists to show their work and collaborate on exciting projects.
It is nestled in the farmlands of New Jersey close to the historic towns of Lambertville and New Hope, situated along the banks of the Delaware River. Both towns are rich with history and popular destinations for antique seekers and artists alike. Originally driven by industry in the early 1900s, the area slowly became known for the arts, tourism, and its bohemian flavor as manufacturing fell away in the 1920s.
The studio also minutes away from Stockton and the famous Stockton Inn which is rumored to be the spot where a large portion of “Gone With the Wind” was written. The inn was also frequented by such notable icons such as Oscar Hammerstein, Helen Hayes, Clark Gable, F. Scott Fitzgerald, Dorothy Parker and Jackie Kennedy Onassis just to name a few.
