“The life of man is a self-evolving circle, which, from a ring imperceptibly small, rushes on all sides outwards to new and larger circles, and that without end. The extent to which this generation of circles, wheel without wheel, will go, depends on the force or truth of the individual soul.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson

Well, first, Thank you again for all the love and support, I feel it! It has been a very special and wonderful time for me. I am thrilled to continue to share my work with you and excited for my next steps, most especially to get my hands back in some clay. I am looking forward to developing new routines, continued growth, and new project fires to take spark.

Second, it was time for this gal to go celebrate with a beer at a pub in England! No really, it was time for this artist to take a little break. Our family summer vacation has been in the books for quite some time now. We are away in… you guessed it… the UK, as I write this. We are visiting with friends, two of my bests, whom I have known for 23 years now. We met way back during a wonderful, adventurous summer as camp counselors. Now after many years of friendship and many trips back and forth we are together again visiting and joining in a family celebration for one of my friend’s sons. It’s so wonderful to catch up, celebrate and take a breath. I have even enjoyed some quiet moments to let what I have been up to recently really sink in.

I am thoroughly enjoying tea and biscuits, and looking forward to having a delicious curry this evening. We’ve visited two castles already and eaten plenty of chocolate. There is so much to savor right now and I am busy doing it.

Also please know that while I am away the shop is still open! Purchases made now will be shipped out on Saturday Sept. 6th when I return. As it goes with everything, as something finishes there is a new beginning happening as well. I am here, taking a breath and starting my new beginnings as well as letting go of what’s been finished.

More soon… but for now I am going to put my feet up and just take a few more minutes to breathe and take in a little bit more of the english country side in. Cheers!

Sending love out to you all!
