So I have finally decided to do a blog. I have been hesitant about it but I think you will all enjoy what I have to share here. What you’ll find is that this will be a place to get a slice of my life both as an artist, as a mother and everything else in between.
Five years ago my husband and I adopted our two children from Nepal and that is when my journey began as both an artist and mother. It’s been a wild ride ever since. Back when we brought Shanti and Sandeep home, my husband John and I had made a blog about our journey to parenthood. We wanted to create it as a document that the kids could go back to later, as well as a way for family and friends to keep up with everything that was going on with the process. Our intention then, was to continue it occasionally giving everyone updates even after we all got home and settled. Once we did get home, we had some technical difficulties and had to take the whole thing down. So we recently got our act together and have reposted our original blog and will now continue with new updates here on News from the Nest.
